Back to School Backpacks

Coming Saturday at eleven in the morning a group of volunteers will begin sorting all the supplies and packing the backpacks, so all the children will the school supplies they need for the new school year. 

We could always use more volunteers, so if you have some time, please come and join us! 

We can also still use supplies. If you are curious what we can use, please take a look below.

Count me in! I'm also bringing some boxes of supplies my group at Empire State collected at the end of last school year.

I'm in for helping to pack. Also, I've got funds leftover from the last round of donations from the Church, so if you tell me which things you need specifically off those lists, I'll make a run to the store to pick them up and then bring them round for packing.

Thanks Terry. Frankly, at this point it's still hard to say. There is still stuff coming in. But from experience, I think the scientific calculators for the high school classes are going to be a challenge. Those things are just pretty expensive.

You know I'll be there for packing and still trying to track down some of the specific requests from schools closest to DX for the supplies pool
