I have found a strange thing.

Angel has showed me the commercial for a movie, the Spiderman Three. And there is a man in the movie who will turn to sand and fight. He is the Sand Man I think? He is like me, but I will not fight. But I will turn to sand, sometimes.

I think I will like to see this movie. I will like to see if he is like me really. I know it is only a movie, but it is strange still.

I have not seen the two movies yet. You think they are good for watching? I will like to do this. Maybe it will make me understand the Spiderman Three better. But maybe not... it is very confusing, I think.

It'll help. The first movie basically tells how he got to be Spider-Man, and I think there's stuff in the third one that you should see the second one to understand. I think.

I think the pizza is not to be halal so I am not to eat it. But I will still like to watch the movies. Maybe I will make pizza for me in the kitchen to eat with the movies.

Will there be a Bat Man movie too?

I dunno, we might be able to figure out how to get them to do halal pizza. Haroun - Mr. Al-rashid, he left before you got here - he ate halal... uh, sometimes. I think he was kinda bad at it also sometimes - but I bet Lorna could call his wife and him and they'd know if there's a place local that does halal pizza.

It'd have to be vegetarian, right? Veggie pizza's pretty good, especally if the veggies are fresh.

It is a problem that many things in pizza is pork. Like pepperony. If I do not eat these things, my food has touched it, maybe, and it is not halal. I am sorry to be trouble. I will make my own, I am happy to do this.

You're not trouble at all. If Mr. Al-rashid happens to know of a place, cool, right? And if not, you like cooking. Win-win situation, right?

Okay, so lemee see if I get this. There's kosher, like Mr. Haller keeps, and Halal, like you keep, and they're kinda the same, but not exactly the same - and neither of you eat pork?

Man, how does Lorna keep all this AND all of our wacky food allergies straight?

I do not think they are the same, but they are mostly the same. I will not eat pork, or many things with the fats of animals, and I will not eat alcohol.

Things that are touching the things I will not eat, I cannot eat these either. It is a strict rule and I cannot eat many things from outside. But Miss Lorna is very good and is straight on all the rules. She has put my food in my little refrigerator.

Okay, so anyplace you can eat that's not here would have to make all their food halal?

Can you eat shrimp and other shellfishes? I know that they're not kosher. Are they also not halal?

Lorna's awesome. I still can't figure out how she keeps all this straight in her head. Halal + kosher + allergies + vegetarians = My head wants to explode.

I have not had shrimps before. I do not know if I can eat them. They are looking funny, I do not know that I wish to eat them even if I can eat them.

Miss Lorna has very much organizing in the kitchen. It is the only way for it to be working, I think.

Yeah. Labels everywhere. But it means that we can open the fridge and cabinets and find stuff with our name on it and not have to worry, and that's fine by me. Means I don't have to carry that three page list everywhere with me.

I organize everything using discs with different metal content in them based on what people are able to eat.

That makes total sense and still makes my head hurt trying to think about it.

It's like color-coding but easier because I don't have to look at anything, I can do it by feel. Makes doing inventory a million times easier.

Oh, and yeah. There's Batman movies. There's a couple out already - one that just came out not too long ago, and some that came out a long ways back. The one that just came out is better though.
